when two hobbies collide

I called a guy who offered some military 4x4 axles up for sale in the paper. I went to look at the axles and came home with a 1958 Dodge powerwagon. I want the axles for another project. The following day I have a guy who has now made an offer on the cab and bed. He wants to hot rod it out and make it into a hauler. pictures tomarrow.

Man, that's an Elk! Cool truck always liked the Power Wagons.

The "Elk" is a sculpture I did, about 9 feet tall with a lightining rod for a spear, holding a shrunkin head in one hand.

Yep, it is a shame to not finish it out, but then what do you do with it?
