where to buy ?????

got a mate going out to portland on holiday and he's very kindly agreed to pick up some bits for me, is there anyone in that area that could suggest somewhere that might have rear brake bits in stock ? a pair of rear wheel cylinders for an 71 ish 8" axle for example,

Yes, those shouldn't be too hard to find at any of the regular auto parts stores although a local may have a favorite shopping place.

thanks Guys, wanted to ask first as over here the regular parts shops seem to only stock late'ish model spares, ask them for anything off a 70's car and they look at you as if your an alien

Just a bit of advice. Know exactly what car you want them for, make something up if you have to. Because most of our parts stores have a database that requires them to plug all that info in at the point of sale, they have to ask.
