Whos from Upstate NY?

I'm not from upstate NY, but went to college in the North Country for 6 years and stayed on another before moving back South. Where are you, hillbilly?

Im from Westernville. Located at the halfway point between Rome and Boonville. Had a real nice country upbringing.

I graduated from St. Lawrence University in Canton, NY. I had classmates from your area - Rome, Boonville, etc. It is beautiful there; that's why we tried to stay.

Anyone else from Northern New York?

24dodge - I graduated SLU class of 1994. I attended Clarkson University in Potsdam as a math dept. grad student for the following two years, but did not finish.

Did you attend school up there?

No I didn`t go to school there , I visited some friends of mine who did though , It`s all pretty fuzzy, all I remember of that trip was a foot bridge from the campus across a river and somehow ending up on the island in the middle of the river below the bridge .....ahhh youth
