Ok, a bit off topic but my name is Steve, I am a cameraholic. I take my camera every where I go every day. Some day I will learn to use it correctly.

We all live in differnt parts of the country. I thought it might be fun to see waht winter is like where you live. I will start it out.

The first pic was taken from the main door of my shop. The second in the small town I live near.

Bite me!

....Sorry, first reaction. I'm tired of lousy ice chunk roads and below zero temps. Maybe I'll relax and dig out some pics later - I'm kind of a picture nut myself.

Ya'll actually want to see the model a sitting by the palm tree with the bouganvilla blooming in the background?

-25 degrees!

This is what I could see two nights ago driving home...

Don't get me wrong, I don't mind the snow nearly as much as the below zero temps...ya know when your car doors creek at you when opening them, engine barely turns over, shocks seem to be filled with ice, car feels brittle when driving it-like it's going to shatter into a million pieces when you hit those rock hard snow drifts. OK, OK enough whining...after all, it is (kind of) my choice to live here! Blasted Canadian cold fronts!!!

I'm looking forward to the weekend-highs near 30 Sunday woohoo T-Shirt weather!?!

i dont have pics to show the weather today, but we are at -21 and schools are cancelled and its supposed to be getting colder

and i'm sure inside my engine block has a bunch of ice chunks floating around

-41C and a little snow shovelling to do last week

Bob

Bob .... my buddy was just featured in the Calgary Herald last week as a plow operator in Calgary. Said it was pretty frosty earlier in the month but yesterday was nice, about 10 Celcius (50 farenheit). How have you been coping with the 40 below stuff ?
