Just wondering if a complete but not running 430ci mel engine from a 59 Lincoln Capri is worth selling or not? Tnx...rr

I would say it is worth something to a restorer or someone who wanted to use that particular engine. Even if only to be different, which would be pretty cool in my book. :)

I had one back in the late '60's, out of a '58 Turnpike Cruiser. It has the same bellhousing bolt pattern as an FE Ford motor so there are many transmission options to go with it. What a torque monster, but it didn't rev really high.
We put it in my little brothers '56 Ford pick-up and didn't fix the broken valve right away. One day in town a fairly new Mustang with probably a 351W was sitting beside us at the light, sneering at the 'chuck, chuck, chuck' sound coming from those hillbillies' truck. Two long blocks later the Mustangs lane petered out and he had to change into our lane, and he wasn't slacking off. His sneer looked more like teeth-gritting determination, but it was quite safe for him to pull in behind us as he was back there a bit. He then remembered where he wanted to go and turned off on a side street. He wasn't interested in what was under our hood, I guess. It was a stock 430 MEL with one bad valve.
They are a good motor, worth keeping or selling.

Boat anchor. Too much of an oddball to sell. Everybody will tell you how "cool" it is, but when it comes time to lay down the cash it won't be there. Just speaking from experience...
