Turns out the truck belongs to the guy who cut the windshield for my Studebaker. When I saw the truck I called him at work to let him know what happened. He was really cool and understanding about it. When he got there after work the water had recceded and all he did was get in it fire it up and drive it to higher ground. He said what little water got inside was nothing. He had it all dried out the following day.

Now, had I know ahead of time a fellow RRR guy would have been there I would have arranged to meet you and share an adult beverage or two....did you have a car there, or where you there to just play in the mud :D

I was glad to here that the truck was alright and there was no real damage to it. I seen the truck up in the highest corner of the park on Sat.

When I got there Friday morning I could not believe what I seen. On the way in though Emmaus I seen all the water running down the street I knew that were that water was running that the park had to get hit. ( I was the Fire official there for 16 years and I know when its bad.)

The first thing I seen when I got in the park was one of our tents was down and the tents over the black 57 chevy were down. It was about 15 minutes till I notice the lake in the lower field and the truck in the far end of it.

I took about three steps out of the car and my feet were soaked I walked over to my friends bag chairs that were laying on the ground and dump about a gallon of water out of each bag. But i had fun and that what it all about. It was funny watching the people trying to walk and drive through the mud. I had a guy wipe out right in front of me.

I been going since the 13th show and this year I had a 58 Chevy there. (Just think I'm a Ford guy). I'll be there next year. hopefully with either the 40 ford or the 27 Ford pickup rat rod.

You probably now are group. Flashback Rodders.
