Flat about had a fit when he saw it, but I had been tellin' him that this week while I was on vacation I was going to rip out the closet in our bathroom to make it bigger so our son could roll his wheelchair in there, so I guess he didn't take me too seriously! I now have it all completely out, then I need to tear down a wall to expand it, take out the door and install a wider one. I love doing stuff like this. It only took me about 2 1/2 hours to do, and only one busted knuckle! I am having a ball!

Yep, gonna try to. The good and safe thing is that there is not any electrical wires and stuff in this wall. So it should be fairly easy to do.

Naw, I wouldn't be scared of the work she did. I might be scared of her ability to swing a hammer with such effectiveness, just in the event that she would swing at me with it if she got mad.

Did you get a pic of the Flatster's  face?

What "Reason4" forgot to tell y'all was she greeted me in the front dining room where I saw a lot of stuff piled up on the table. After I looked real close I notice she has a hammer in hand.....

That is what SKEERED me...:D

Flat,
I suggest you hide the hammers, crowbars etc! I'd also consider sleeping with one eye open. If we don't hear from you for an extended period... I'll send da boyzz n blue!!!

Y'all are too funny!
Yes I'll try to post pics as I go. The good thing about that is Flat will be at work while I am here doing this so thankfully there will not be any pics of me "in progress", let me tell ya, that's the scary part! Not bad for 2 1/2 hours and taking care of 4 kids (one being in a wheelchair). I got a bit scared when I saw the mint green paint under the wallpaper........kinda makes you ask what were they thinking years ago!
Seriously though, I can't wait till my son can roll in there without problems. That will be worth the busted knuckles! Then it's off the put in wider doorways through out the house. After that I need to bust down the wall in his room to expand the 1/2 bath and make a "roll in shower" with no barriers for him. I am hesitant on that because of all the work I have done by hand in his room....take a look......

Each and every 8" square was hand painted, not taped off but done by hand, this room took me 3 months to finish.
Can ya tell we love racin'?

Mrs. Reason,

Sounds like ur havin' fun. I would like to see the pictures but it seems I can't ever see any of the pics you post. I see every one elses. Am I doin supthin wrong?

At any rate keep us posted on the progress. Hope Flat will survive.

Dale Jr.`s sister Kelley , lives about 12 doors down from me , it was the house her Dad was building before he died

That's cool. I was a big Dale Sr. fan. I haven't really followed too much since his death. Seems like alot of things changed around that same time.

Seems I have the same problem. these pics and Herselfs drilled arms for sale pictures.

lucky for me I have a great imagination, I am picturing a bulldozer sitting in the middle of the house, with Reason4 at the controls. I'm close right?

Scared? Nah, it's cool. My ex-Girlfriend was like that, she loved to dig in and build and tear up stuff. She was actually mad when I sold a motorhome I we had been converting into a ramp truck for my shop. We had torn the back off and boxed in the cockpit, and she was redoing the interior. I finally had too much stuff going and sold it, and she never left me forget it.

She was a refreshing change from my ex-wife. If she broke a fingernail, her whole week was ruined. :D:D

Are yall getting the little boxes with the red "X" or are you getting the box that says you have to "log in" to view?

Flatster,
I get the box with the x, which I thought meant boken link, but I am no putor expert. The box also has info such as, image number, times it has been viewed and size info.

Are you required to wear a hard hat in the house now?? And have the yellow construction tape around everything.?

Honestly CD,
I don't know what the little red X means. Try clicking on them and see if it tells you to log in again. If so, log in and see what happens. As far as the hard hat goes....Hail no I ain't wearing no derned hard hat....:D

You guys are gonna have to change that "24" with the red line through it on the door now that Jr. is gonna be drivin for Hendrick.

I am very glad he's going to Hendrick, I think it was the best move since his dad died. But as far as Gordon, I could care less about him, i don't like Gordon or Stewart, I have one rule of this room, If anything for these two drivers go in it I will have to destroy it first then proudly display it.

Y'all I may be doing something wrong while trying to post pics, I don't know but I can see them. I don't know whats up with it.

I love doing this kinda stuff. While Flat was in Afghanistan I stayed at home with all of the kids and basically have lots of fun redoing alot of rooms in the house. The kitchen was fun pulling down the cabinets, stripping them and refinishing them. No hard hats required around here...yet. I am the type of person that can't learn enough, I have demoed a whole house, roofed houses, worked on cars...etc. I like to keep busy.
