writing a business plan for a small business loan

hey has anybody out there ever done this before? if you have, any hints or tips you would like to share. i am tryin to get the capitol to start up my own shop.

Talk to your bank or lender, they quite often have an information package that covers most of the questions you need to cover for a business plan. Also check out your local Small Business Development Center and/or the same at your State or Provincal level. Quite often there is a lot of free info for the asking. When I did mine I just used examples I found online to peice it together. I was surprised at how simple they were. I thought I would have to write this long elaberate paper but it was easy. The banker looked it over in about 30 seconds asked a couple questions and then pushed the loan through.
