I love me some Subway & in my town there's a Texaco across the street from our Subway and that really surprised me!

We have Texaco's in AL. Not all that uncommon to see a closed station here. Some of them were bought by foreigners a few years back, they ran them into the ground, almost never stocked them, turned the cooler temps up so drinks were warm instead of cold, and were just plain rude and nasty to customers. After they ran all the business off, they boarded them up and went elsewhere, leaving an closed eyesore. I see them all the time like that here in the southeast.
Here in Ky a lot of Indians (not native americans) bought the stations and totally ran them into the ground. Warm drinks, prices went up, service went down, plus the places were filthy.
