Z'ing a frame...where do I start?

OK, so now its time to get serious and start cutting up my frame and Z'ing it. Stock 52 Ford F1. I want it low. I'm going to keep the stock frame and just add in a Z.

Question is, where do I cut it? I was thinking for the front section, I would cut it right beind the rear spring hanger. And for the rear section, right after the rear hanger. Does this sound right? Then I'd mock up my ride height and make my Z's accordingly.

Might want to get a good idea where you want your motor, cab, and rear axle first too. A lot of Z's are close to the cab as possible.

I was planning on keeping the cab in the stock location and mound the engine after I have the cab installed.
