Does anybody know where I might be able to get some pre-made steel skulls? I want to find some on the cheap because my mom collects that kind of stuff and I'm thinking about building her a coffee table with my welder, some angle iron, and a skull theme. Only skulls i can find though are all aluminum and a grip of mula. thanks!

Did Somebody say skulls?

This one is life sized, all steel and hand made. But the price is $250.
Maybe what you are looking for is a flat steel cut out. Or a series of skulls cut out to cover the whole table. I could do that with my plasma. I have not seen a company who makes that kind of stuff, looking forward to what the RRR guys come up with for you here.

that's why i was thinking it would be nice to find some cheap cast ones, you do good work bonehead and it's worth every penny, i just don't have that many penneys :D. The flat pieces are a good idea though, i could weld them up to hold the glass on the table and you'd be able to see the skull faces through the glass. in fact, i think that might work better then 3-d skulls. Do you know how much you would want to charge for four 5-6" skulls cut out of a piece of fairly thick plate with your plasma? Thanks dude.

Table size of about 40 X 24? Again, I may be a little on the pricey side but $175 bucks would cover the cut out, In 3/16 plate. But then you would have shipping.
I have a better idea. How abouot using heavy plate, and cutting it with a torch? Let it be rough cut and leave the slag on for effect. Just get your hands on a chunk of 1/2 plate. If you need a design, I could work one up for you.

that's an awesome idea bone! thanks. I want to give it to her for christmas so i figured i better get started now if i have any chance of figuring out how i'm going to do it. (i know, i'm slow) I'm sure i can come up with a design, i used to draw skulls and creepy stuuf alot in my early teen years. thanks

When you find that 1/2 inch plate you better bring a buddy with you. That stuff can be pretty heavy. You dont want to drop it on your foot.
