After reading Gastrick's thread on cloth covered plug wire, I did a little searching and found a supplier of multi strand cloth covered wire of different sizes.

http://www.magnetoparts.com/

I will rewire the '22 dodge with this, as I like the look alot.
Any one have ideas about what to use for bundling wires besides tie wraps?
Something a little more period looking?
I was thinking about cutting shrink tubing in 1/2 wide bands to represent electrical tape, the way we did it when I was a younger guy, and it wouldnt hide the cloth wire.

Thoughts or ideas appreciated. Thanks, '22

they used string tied in knots every inch or two the whole length of the run, i`ll see if I can find you a pic

like this...... time consuming but really cool.

Thanks...

Thanks, '24.

The string would really have me talking to myself.....
I can't immagine someone having to do that all day to earn a living...

And, yeah, I remember cloth tape also.
It was much easier to rip a piece off when needed, but the adheasive also was left stuck to your fingers.
Ah yes, those memories....:D '22

Thanks guys.........

Gastrick and '24, thanks for those links..... I think ;)

There is a lot of cool stuff there, and too many ideas.....
But I do have awhile to sort it out before I return again

Seriously, thanks. There are some items that I have needed, hadn't really
looked for yet, but found already on those sites.
There is some options for molding around the top of the body that I hadn't
really looked for yet.
Saw a magazine article about cutting, bending, and welding tubing for the top perimeter edge of the rear body, darned if I can find it now that I need it.
But spotted some interesting molding options on those sites.

Should be some good fun. "22
