My Rat build

this started off as a 27 T roadster but since i started this project i have since got a new body for the frame. a 29 chrysler 2 door sedan. the chassis is hand built 2x4 box. it has a dana 44 posi rearend and a 48 ford straight axle out of a F-1. the rear suspension is a hand make triangulated four link with custom coil overs made from parts at autozone total cost of coilovers was 69.00. the front suspension is suicide perch with model T spring from speedway. power plant is a 65 ford 289 complete rebuild trw pistons rebuilt heads. crane and and lifters , timing gears. vintage torker intake with aft carter 650 carb. has new HEI billet distributer and hand built headers. behind the engine for trans is 68 3spd top loader. im using a 56 ford steering box as a right hand drive cowl setup.
just got bomber aluminum seats for it. looking to chop the 26 sedan here in a couple of weeks make floor pan and get fitted on frame.

BFgoodrich silvertons made by cooker tires. I got them from jegs. About 900.00 for the four of them.

yes always wanted to do a right side drive since the mini truck days. because of the trans ans shift linkage was actually easier to go to the right.
and thank you its always nice to have the details you do get noticed.
