Well I've downsized
Decided to sell my 1926 dodge sedan so I could focus on the 1953 dodge pickup. I ended buying another pickup and as of now purchasing another. I bought a 1971 F250 4x4. Next week I'm headed to Kennewick,WA to pick up a daily driven 1968 Dodge D100. Will post more pictures of...
Guess I should start a build thread. I've got a 1953 dodge pickup I've owned for 8 years or so. I drove the truck with the flathead the day I got it up until about three years ago when I yanked the flathead and pursued putting a 318 in the truck. As of now the engine is nearly done. Been put on...
I've been scouring the net for an engine for my rat. I've got my old flathead i pulled out of my 53' dodge pickup thats rattling around in the back of my mind. Im just wondering if I should stuff it in my rat. The engine ran when I pulled it but smoked. I've got a 1926 dodge sedan and I'm trying...
yota frame
Well I'm glad to see this thread. I have a toyota frame that I wanted to use under my 1926 Dodge sedan. Seeing other projects with this same setup gives hopes that this will work awesome for me.
frame decisions
Could one possible do this to a newer frame? I've got a datsun/toyota chassis that I would like to use. I picked up a wishbone front end too. Just not sure what to do now. The car fits almost perfect on the frame.
cramped
Well I took a minute to sit in the old sedan and now I realize that I may have to seal the back doors. I'm 6'4" so sitting in the original seat area is not going to work. I basically planned on just having two seats in it anyways. I plan on getting the car back to one piece when i get...
Wishbone
I was lucky enough to pick up 1935 ford wishbone front axle for 150 dollars. I read a thread on here about a guy cutting the front off the same style chassis I have and adapting the wishbone to it. Hopefully I can start mocking up a frame for my rat this year.
1926 dodge
I had a plan to keep it non chopped. I picked an old 76 dodge pickup for $200 that runs and drives. It has a 360 with an auto tranny. I was thinking of pullin the drive train for the 26. I have 10 days off a month but by the time I get my honey do list done I'm headed back to work...
I found the site while i was searching for ideas on building my 1926 Dodge Bros sedan. Acquired a 80s toyota frame for it which made me curious if anyone else has done this. I also on a 1953 Dodge pickup. Ive only had the 26 for a few months but I had my truck for 8 years now. I drove the truck...
