    Budget rat rod

If you pick up the March 2008 issue of Rod and Custom they have a good feature of building a RPU out of a 67-72 F150. Check it out. Also they have had several others in past issues.

Next phase need lots of advice

Here's some good pic. of a slant chop. This type of chop has the advantage of not needing extra door and top materal. A straight chop requires material from 2 extra doors and extra drip molding. No narative with these pictures but a picture is worth a thousand words.

    HF Beadroller Stand

Here's how I mounted mine. Found a old disc and welded tabs to it and bolted it to the floor. I also cut the handle off and mounted a tubing ring off of a old drafting chair. It makes it alot easier to use by yourself. I also welded some 3/8X2 1/2 strap to the side of the throat to keep the...

    New Mexico 41 Chev. P/U

It was fairly solid. The doors were home to pack rats for about 20 years. So the bottoms are gone. No real problem. It is funny where rust sets in, The front X member was rusted away. Good thing I was planning on using the M2 front end. I will add more pictures soon.

    Hello from New Mexico

I am new to the site, but like what I see. I have even seen some paint and chrome without seeing someone post a rotten letter telling the offender to get off the site. It is nice to find a group of adults. I have been building cars for more years than I should admit. I am hooked on VW's and...
