In the stock ford trucks (67-79 for sure) there were 2 sets of holes in the crossmember to mount the engine towers (as I call them). The towers are the same for the FE motors (332,352,360,390,406,410,427,428) and the big sixes (240, 300)but they used different holes. It seems like the FEs used...

I whipped up a visor from a 1967 Ford Tailgate, a little bit or road sign and some steel rod. I think it came out ok. Thoughts?

Thats a big reason I want to go without the front end. I would like to entend the wheelbase quite a bit over what it would be as a shortie.
