Couper, I've not ever looked like you either. My Jr year in high school I wrestled at the 145lbs weight class, that was probably as close to being "fit" as I have ever been. I have pretty much been growing at about 2 1/2lbs a year since then, pretty steady, no big changes at a time.

Don't have many pics of me around here.

This one is 5 gen of my family, me on the left (then 65), then my mon (she is 85 then), the little guy is Wyatt (he is 2 now), my grandson Matt (was 20), and my daughter Carrie (was about 42).

Not been many hobbies outside of the car world for me. My work life started out in auto repair, then went into factory production, then factory maintenance, then into factory heavy machine repair (100 ton forge presses), and then 25 years as a one man welding shop before retirement in 2018. Cars and dirt track racing have always been there.
Nice picture Gene....always nice to put a face to a name. Nice family as well! When I was a kid I wasn't into any sports.... My mom got me slim pants and they were too big! LOL

Do a little fishing during the warm weather. Live on the coast but also close to fresh so do them both. We are also in constant remodel mode in the house. Get away when we can. Both love to travel. Favorite is just spending time with my Wife and kids though. Jim

Is that you smalls or your buddy?
That's my buddy Joel working on a knife we took to the show. We took a few down today to the show. Sales were slow but he sold one of his for $1000. He leaves in the am on a trip to the Bahamas and will be back here about Friday. I'm taking care of his pup Millie. (black Lab) I be the hairy one...

Been in the same family since 1957...I got the nod to adopt the old man...he is a 1948 CJ2A I named Dave Whitcomb after the owner who in 1957 bought a service station in the Syracuse NY area and kept it until he died...

I like anything involving hammers and their relatives.... scored a couple German anvils today... the small one is a 260lbs Refflinghaus and the big boat anchor is a 566lbs Sickelschmidt & Schlasse 🙂

What a great find. I have a 250, and it is my big anvil. Way to go.
beeing close to Germany helps finding German anvils I suppose... Actually, it`s hard to find anything but German or Swedish here, which is fine by me. 250 is a great size . You can throw just about anything at that. I don`t need that 566 but the best blacksmith has the biggest anvil.... everybody knows... 😂
