Tornadoes don't really scare me until the sirens are on and its on the ground. You get numb to the "watches". when I was young and dumb we'd grab a 12 pack and follow the storm chasers.
About them hitting cars it happens cause my 200r came from a a piedmont tornado monte ss.
Farmers can be a different bunch. May almost give it away or may not sell it for any thing especially if grandpappy took them to school in it. Look at your local farm auctions . Old cars are goog finds there everyone wants farm equipment there
cars have tags 68. sad a 56hard top in here... most have no frames[P floor boards are good. 57 chev wagon even has the back seat and top tailgate frame
we unearthed this old 40merc in western ok yesterday. we've got some more to go after but this was a start.. loaded with nothing more than a shovel, come along and some wood. started early am and it was on by 11:30.
lots of good parts
I know these tires are throw aways. I have several and thought they might look cool on the front of something? anyone used them before? Mine are GM multi lugs. I keep a few around because they are good for getting sitting vehicles and being both bolt patterns is a plus.
are the speed way front ends copied off the 40 ford? I was wondering if the disc brake kits for these would work on a 40 ford?
We are coming on some 39mercs, 40 fords. I often see "40" ford front ends under model A's. Was this front end the same for several years or was it just 1940 or any...
Pulled the body off the regal and kept the frame uncut until I decide its fate. I was surprised we had it off its frame in about 30 min with hand tools. Im thinking the rear will make great use of a bobber truck and the regal gas tank could sit in the bed
