    i added a 1in spacer to help give it some room. like i said its not exactly what i want. but its been than the stock iron one.

    hmm good to know. ive got 4.10's and 31in tires. but not sure about the tranny. its a 727 and afaik its stock. but then again this truck has been worked on by far to many hands i'll keep with it for now. getting my feet wet in this carb/intake/v8 mess. love it and i'm learning alot.

    alot of the guys on my C body website dont like the rv motors to much. honestly i dont recall their reasons tho. might be worth checking over there? either way the parts alone are worth a penny. big block Mopars aren't cheap

    ok float level is good. haven't taken the carb apart yet. i need it running even if its hesitating for the moment. i'm off work in 45 min and i have the next four days off. to bad i'll be in anc for a firefighter convention, then back to work for three days.

    makes sense. I have read that alot of pumps like to push fuel more than suck it. so its safer to mount near the tank than in the engine bay. worth researching anyways

    glad ya figured it out! what is the reason for not using a paper filter between the tank and the pump? afraid it will get paper pieces stuck in the pump? my inline pump on my yorker has a built on metal filter, i do assume its a paper filter but not for sure, it came with it and the warranty...
