Finally got the 54 GMC with 50 Chevy front clip on the road. Worked on this project for 3 summers with my sons. Here are a couple of pictures from what it started as and finished (Well are they ever finished?) with 1st trophy and family/helpers.

Can anyone tell me the size of the flathead engine that came in a 35 Ford "AA" truck? I'm thinking it would be an 80 hp but not sure if the big trucks had a different engine than cars?:confused: Enclosing a picture.

I'm from Upstate NY and plan on building my first rat rod. I've restored a 1957 Chevy and 70 Camaro years ago but haven't done much hotrod work in years. Can't wait to get back into it. I've been reading some of the threads in this forum and have enjoyed them very much. Glad I found this site...
