So I have lost most of the install photos of the engine and trans, so skipping ahead I have the drive train, exhaust done, the truck runs and drives now! I need to do the finishing touches but here's some more photos

Here goes nothing, 1953 gmc 5 window, was a project when I bought it, I am putting a full oilier 1962 impala 235 in it. wide whites and drive it. My questions, I need to main bearing cap torque spec's, I pulled them mostly off to replace the rear main seal. Here's some photos

it lives! primed the fuel system and had a new battery! fires right up and runs smooth! well sort of! major oil leak at the oil filter (oil every where,dam it) and carb needs to be resealed, we have a new one on the way. i will put the new one on and rebuild the one on the car. after we button...

long story short, dad and I got this from a lady's collection, It was the first car her and her husband bought and the last to leave the collection. Her husband died in 74 i believe and this car has sat sense then. It had dot5 brake fluid put in the brakes and the gas drained out and the coolant...
