Thanks Dirtyrat. That may very well be it. I got A ELE vacuum pump thats pulls 16 hg vacuum do U know if it needs to run all the time or just when the brake applyed?

both fronts do the same. I put new pads and wheel cylinders. It has power brakes but i dont have enought vacuum for them to work untell I get the ele vacuum pump hooked up. i do not have the rear brakes hooked up yet.

Once I start moving there not dragging once I go about 2 miles and 2 stop signs the brakes start dragging getting hot. can any of you help me figger out why the brakes are not releasing? Thanks Jim

Yes I did. I could of keep it none adjustable but I would have had to order a diff lenght pushrod for each valve.

I Got it all back together and it runs great with no valvetrain rattling any more. I still don have but 6lbs of vacum at idle. The cam sounds no bigger than a comp 280 cam. This cam was new a open box 268 extrem cam that was sold from a parts store that was closing its doors. So im thinking its...

Hope this may help. I welded 16 gag metal to the rad support and welded bolts to The 16gag Metal for the mustang rad to set in the 16gag metal also works as my fan shrald.

Update: I tryed to check the preload on the driver side bank and I have no preload at all the pushrod likes bettween .015 to .025 b4 the rocker arm and push rod come in contact with the valves closed. That explaines why I had alot of valve train noise but still dont explain the really low...
