Thanks for all the kind words. I was very uneasy about making the first cut, so I told myself "Just cut the dang thing!"

Decided to start the top chop before pulling the cab off. Started by removing 5" from the back of the cab. My son and I had talked about doing a wedge chop, so I'll get the back buttoned up and see where it goes from there.

Yes, I was thinking the same thing. When I get the cab back off, I have to put in a couple more crossmembers and drive shaft loops, so I was going to rethink the trans crossmember as well.[;)

Yes, the pedals are gonna be a bit tricky. The steering box actually sits right behind the box, pedals are coming from the floor about in the original location, but we'll see how this all works out....fingers crossed.[S

Got the 4-speed hump added to the trans tunnel today. I think the floors are in enough to pull the cab and finish them from the outside. Finally looks like some progress.

Also sold my "street legal Yamaha WR450 to buy an Enderle 8 stack fuel injection for the Hemi. It was something my son was planning on doing. He was constantly texting pics of old Hemis with the old Hilborn and Enderle stacks. I am actually going to convert it to EFI to help with the streetability.

Got to spend a little time working on the truck. Still trying to finish up the floor. Finally able to play with a bead roller I bought about 2 years ago.[cl
