This is not your typical Rockabilly show. It's much more. It is a celebration of everything Rockabilly. There will be Rockabilly bands all weekend, hundreds of traditional rods, vendors, clothing, tattoo artists, Pin up Girls, a rod swap meet, Burn out contests, 100 foot drag races, Loud Pipe contests, great food, Dine N Dash contests, Fastest mechanics in the West contest, tire changing contests, Dance contests, Best Dressed contests, and much, much more.
We, at A Bomb Entertainment, believe in keeping our events affordable to vendors, car enthusiasts and spectators alike. In addition from being an affordable getaway destination for a Rockabilly weekend, a portion of our proceeds will go to benefit several charities.
So, you can either sit by your car and visit with all the other traditional rodders from all over the country, or you can go shopping at all the different vendor booths, go to the rod swap meet, get a tattoo or two at the largest tattoo show in Northern Nevada, participate in a bowling tournament; one for the vendors and one for the car owners; or dance the night away well into the morning. There will even be a place to take the children to play at the Rockabilly Play Arena. The Grand Sierra Resort has a Go-Kart track and Ultimate Rush Thrill Rides, in addition to, an arcade featuring the latest video games and laser tag arena for the children to enjoy.
Inside the Grand Sierra Resort, you can play slot machines, table games, play pool, go swimming in the seasonal outdoor heated pool with a hot tub and private cabanas, shop in GSR's mall with 25 specialty shops, dine at several restaurants, eat at the buffet, go to the movies, or practice your golf at the Aqua golf driving range. In addition, there will be live bands outside all weekend. There is truly something for everyone. You and your family can do all this and more, at one location, at the Reno Rockabilly Riot at the Grand Sierra Resort. We hope to see you there!!!
