Build is going to be a Model A type truck cab using 1929 sedan doors and cowl pieces, make up rear of cab some how. To get started my buddy built a nice flat level table to work on. Chassis is going to be tig welded. 12 point roll cage with a ls motor. Starting on rear suspension and rear frame clip.

Working on the cowl trying to get it straight enough to actually use. Dug out one of the doors that luckily are in good condition.

Spent a day and a half chopping the doors and more cowl work also worked on the back panel that is severely bent out of shape.

if it's going to be a drag truck it's going to be twisting a lot. drag racers don't care that much about fit and finish, more on how fast it goes.

To a point, I've seen a lot of very high quality good looking race cars. And I've seen a lot the other way lol.
As for the body man I've started with way worse and made it where the door smoothly. It's fixable I wouldn't give up on it yet
