Looking to start a build using the parts I have on hand. Hoping to emulate corpro's success with his "A" Basket Case build elsewhere here.

This is what I am starting with. Mostly parts from a 1929 or 1930 pontiac coupe. I got all the parts as extra's with a 1925 Studebaker hardtop duplex coupe. No frame, no cowl, no trunk.... nada. Since it has no roof I will likely make it into a roadster. Starting on the frame soon.

There are some cool shapes in those parts. [dr

No cowl isn't necessarily a bad thing. I'd use it as an excuse to build a 90's boyd coddington style rat....hood sides run all the way back to the doors.

A rusted-up 80's billet street rod would be cool. ...and the billet junk should be cheap a the swap meets. [S [P [S

Looks like a good start...

I think the build you are referring to is Smallfoots A... he did the most with the least I have ever seen...

Cowels are fairly easy to find.. in fact i have one in the attic.. from my 36 Donor truck...

Good luck.. we will be watching...
