off to pick up this jewl, bought here in reno nv, so stoked, hoping to clean it up and get it running! any body have a good model at dis. and starter and carb! they need to work. thanks

Wow man awesome find, i wish i had one that barn fresh if it were mine i would put a newer engine and trans rear end just so it would go highway speeds and be more driveable flathead,sb chevy maybe even a 4.3 v6 with matching 5 sp but thats what i would do can't wait to see what you do i will be watching .

I have a line on a 53 ford flat head hopped up and a t5 trans, front and rear would be next or may have to sell it and get something alittle more done already. we will see!

How bout a 235 or 292? Find a 55-56-57 guy that has put in a sbc and late drive train and buy his old drive train and motor. Should be cheap. Just a thought.

Nice truck ! As for the starter, diz, and carb , start rebuilding them or have them done it's not to difficult, clean the gas tank run new lines.
