1949 f2?

Going to look at a 49 F2 tomorrow. Has a clear title. I was looking through some threads on F1 builds. What are these worth as rollers. Say if i were to chop it and channel over the frame and make it a roller. Would it be worth $2500 or more?

yea I would say that even if it was in restorable condition, they don't bring a lot...

I had a friend who drove a chopped 48 for years. Flat black, nothing fancy but a decent old truck. It had a 305/700r4 and a dropped front axle. He sold it for $2500. On an F2 chassis, that's a long bed with 3/4 ton underpinnings, just not the most desireable.

That's the whole reason why I bought my F3. I grew tired of seeing the same old same old in town.
