Picked up this '51 chevy truck project. The floor and firewall was already cut out without any bracing done...so the first step is to try and square the ol girl up and brace her up before I can move on. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. It is going on an s10 chassis also.

Just some basic stuff really.
Measure from corner to corner. Keep an eye on your door gaps. If possible find one that isn't cut up to get some measurements if neccesary. Front sheet metal on these can be a chore to get lined up correctly. (If you are using it).
Good news is that there is a lot of patch panels available for these trucks should you choose to go that route. Most all of them have cowl and toe pan rust issue's.
I am sure there are a few of those AD's on this site so some one will have the data that you might need.
Here is a pic of my former 365 day a year driver. Not on a S-10 Chassis.
Have fun with it.
Torchie.

I see you're in Iowa, welcome aboard, lots of great help on this site. Like Torchie said lots of measuring and you'll get there. There's also a few of these cabs on craigslist cheap around Iowa and Omaha, if you're interested I can get you some links to a couple I thought about getting. Good luck on the project, I'll be following along.

Sure, I would be interested in looking at them, thank you!
