Thanks Bama.

Hey Torchie,
Looking great!!
Have you fired this puppy up yet? If so and I missed it please excuse me.
I'm old and forgetful.

Haven't fired it up yet POPS. It came out of a running car but as of now the carb could use a rebuild as well as new tune up parts. I started the process of putting in the radiator today but due to the channeling of the cab and front fenders I will need to do some mount modifications.(What a surprise).

All these great looking primer gray trucks....
Plan is to roll it out into the sun tomorrow Flipper. I will see how I feel in the morning as 2 of our drivers still need repair and I am staying up tonight with a sick dog.
Torchie.

Out of the garage and into the sunlight. (sort of).

Rolled the beast out to get a good look. Of course it rolled right into a rut so it is sitting kind of lopsided.
Thanks for your support.......
Torchie

Torchie,
Your truck is one class act. Simply beautiful. I would say you surpassed your inspiration on this project. Nice work there, young man. [cl[cl[cl

Thanks OI and skip.

Hoho! Your Dog looks like he's patiently waiting for a ride...;)

Well we had one of the dogs pass the other night smallfoot so the other two are staying fairly underfoot as of late.:(

Stop right there it's perfect! [cl

Just getting started Eman

It's going to be lower for sure DR Crankenstien. Here are a couple of quick photo shops that my daughter did. The first one is lowered 2" all the way around. Looks a lot like the one you did.
The second shows a forward rake.
Thanks for stopping by......

Spent most of the day cleaning and reorganizing the shop as it was turning into a real mess.
Also started to bolt stuff back on the engine. Got the generator relocated to the top of the engine. Carb back on as well as the dist. cap.
Trial fit of the radiator shows that I can not use the stock mounting position and run the stock Olds fan as it will hit the upper outlet. Raised the radiator up and now it clears everything. Will run the fan without the spacer.
Even though the radiator looks like it is sitting high remember that the body has been channeled 6".
Hood clears the top tank with no issues.
