I have a 54 Chevy that I am working on. What options can I go with that will not be a arm and a leg to set up. The only problem is the clutch and brake pivot off the master cylider under the floor.
Also would a non power brake master cylinder from a chevy truck have enough power to stop drum brake on the front and disc brakes on the rear?

I think the chevy truck MC would be plenty good, but if i was going add disc brakes, I'd add them to the front..thats a very popular front spindle, there are lots of options out there for reasonable priced disc brakes for it..

Yep they made 2 different master cylinders too.
If you get the one that is 15/16" bore (non power brake) and not the 1" bore it'll work better.
Also use the large Chevy calipers (non metric) with 11" rotors :)
