1965 chop top ratrod update

These are some shots of us chopping up the roof to widen and lengthen it. We also removed the inner brace by drilling out the spot welds. We"ll add some metal to it and re-install it

WOW! How big of a chop is that? Whats the plan for the windshield?

Huh, I didn't know the 65-66 had indents on the roof - the 61-64 didn't. Still learning something everyday!

Any idea where my 3/4" wrench is?

Hey Sam, The chop is 8" in the front and 7" in the rear. Afrter much research, we're planning on cutting the glass with a sandblaster. For the side windows were eliminating the vent windows and having one peice windows made up.

I'd put a cap on the tank it before you start welding. Even if its empty the fumes are very explosive!!
