youtube is uploading the video now. maybe in 20 ill have the link.

Being an Oldsmobile fan, I'm really digging this build. Really eager to see how you are going to tie that beaver tail in. I know you are thinking fenderless, but any chance you might use the rear fenders to create just a minor lip off the bead and then just enough rear fender behind the tires to blend in the tail?

Just a thought. GREAT BUILD ! ! ! ! !

sir woosh,

thank you very much.

the lip idea has past my mind many of times. i also got something cooking/ chopping in my mind for the rear of the car. its going to be minor and still have the look of the olds beaver tail. i would also like to run the spare tire carrier, but i have 2 different size bolt patterns on the car, so what do you do? lol. i would almost bet i would get a flat with the wrong bolt pattern with my luck.

watching close

i have a 34 they look identical but mine came with ifs from the factory

If they are common bolt patterns they do make multi pattern wheels. Just depends.
Could use wheel for one pattern and carry a adapter to the other.

well the build is on hold.

me and my son was racing flat track last night on atv's. we went out for the main and we got tangled up on the first turn. we both have a broken collar bone and he also has a broken ankle. must have jinxed myself.

looks good possom

that sounds like a good idea rain man. im going to run 2 different height tires, so i should get the taller of the 2.

well i cant work on it yet but i can order stuff. i got 2 amber 12 led bulbs and 2 wired sockets coming, 1175 style. i got this cool idea of a front turn signal. i just hope the bulbs will be bright enough to shine through in the day light.

i could find some vintage turn signals, but i like roaming out of the box from time to time.

my boy and i go to the dr tomorrow. hope it goes smooth.

since i can work on my rat, tried today, lol.

ive been thinking of making one of these to put ontop of the 455. i just think it would add to the cool factor and be different.

what do you guys think?
