28 Essex

Me and a buddy bought a 28 essex to rat rod. Its a four door car. By any chance does anyone know if the front end is a ford. Sure does look like it. Need hubs to fit the front end so we can use the spindles etc. Glad i found this site sure I will have lots of questions. We have built a lot of dirt track cars but this is our winter fun project.

I don't know very much at all about a 28 Essex but I'm almost positive the factory front suspension on one should consist of a pair of semi-elliptical springs mounted parallel to the chassis as opposed to a single transverse mounted spring as Ford would have used. I also think they used some Hudson partsd on them. Got any pictures?
