This car belongs to my buddy Ron We've been working on it since Feb 14 .
This one isn't going to be a rat rod but it will be a shinny driver not trailer queen.

This is how it looked when we found it. It had a cedar tree growing in the motor box we had to cut down to get it the car out of the woods.

I'm not sure what the stock lenght of a two door is we made these 35" overall
we took the front of the left rear door and used it on the right front door.

Its going to have a 454 /turbo 400 or 5 speed standard he still trying make up his mind . color wise that still up in the air all i know for sure is it will be two toned.

Thanks Bonehead, truckster

man you guys are doing a great job saving that one.. i like the longer door look... the roof looks like its going to fit great

Keep it up!

Its going to have a 454 /turbo 400 or 5 speed standard ;quote

5 speed sounds cool. lf ya run a auto trans have ya thought about a
gear-vender overdrive or beefing up a 700R4 to get better fuel milage?
l hate to be so consious of gas milage, but here the cheap stuff is $3.00+
and the good grade is $3.35+ and talk of going higher.
with the compression ratio my 355 sbc is running, 92 octane is a must.

Later[dr

Tiny my 31 chevy 2 door sedan has 35-1/2" doors the window opening is 30" I think you hit the nail right on the head with those doors, looks killer, I can only hope mine looks 1/2 as good as yours, keep up the great work. and more pictures !!!!!

Thank you guys for the kind words. The body was pretty solid on the old car just the wood was mostly gone. It looks like I'll have to replace about 3" along the bottom of the doors.

Skull 92 octane is a must on my truck also . But he is pretty set on the 5 speed standard

lowandratty thanks for the info. We were wondering what size they were.

Thanks again for the kind words Guys
