The fun thing about sites like this. I didn't even know Opel was around that long ago. It is neat to see something other than a T, an A or a duece Ford getting worked over.

Opel is even older than that, her is an ad from 1899

how about lengthening the front door and welding in the rear door to make it a Tudor?

I was planning to make a 2 door but plans have changed.
It's a little hard to explain to me in English but I'm going to shorten the rear door and fabricate something as the rear doors of a van,so that there will no longer b pillar when both doors are open.
I hope I've explained it well.

I now have three weeks off from work,so I can make some progress on de Six.
I started with finishing the doors.

It's a relief to see a Chevy V8 going in, I was afraid it would get some weak kneed 4 cylinder engine !! [cl Are Chevy engines and parts hard to come by there ? (or expensive ?)

I found some time to work on the Opel again.

The original steering rack will not fit because of the V8.
Made a new steering column from 35mm pipe and mount it at a different angle in the car to.
I will use a steering rack from a porsche 924.
