Some of you know I have tried to post pics before but but I'm going to try a new thread here is the start

Even early on the truck has great potential.

first I used 2x4, 3/16 for the frame Z,ed it 18 " using my homemade redkneck frame jig

next it was on to the rear suspension i went for the triagulated 4 link 20" bars

I have not like the way the front cab mounts looked so I tore them out to hide them inside. It will cost me a bunch more hours but I want the firwall with a cleaner look that strap just ain't getin it !

Very cool Chip! I like the front frame horns. Are you going to leave the door logos?

Yes I'm keeping the logos, I hope to make them stand out a bit more but still look old, and thanks boys for the good coments I will be the only one in 3 counties, maybe more, to have a RATROD and i,m dang proud of it!!

New update this ain't no 34 it's a 35 duh!!

After moving the grill this way and that I'm thinking of this route there's a lot of space between the waterpump and the radiator so I come up with this... what do ya think? The bar on top is just to help keep it from falling over while I mock it up

Honestly I really don't like it. But I don't happen to have a better idea.

I like it, I think once its made in metal it will look great. It will flow well with the look of the cab.
