Love those old Binders! I drove a D2 to school in the '60's, I put a 241 Dodge hemi in it.
BTW, yours might be a '38, it doesn't have sealed beam headlights. The '39 had separate park lights on the fenders.

so far the the plan is to put it on a modified 84 nissan pickup chassis with a 79 350 buick engine/turbo350 trans.maybe the rear out of the same donor car and 50 chevy box[ im not sure what exact year it is i'll post a pic of the vin# and some of you binder fans can tell me what year it is[S

Man I think I'd be more apt to use the original frame instead of dropping a decent truck onto a POS jap junker, but then again that's just my opinion[
