I’m officially jealous! One of my all-time favorite cars and you have a great plan for it. Looking forward to seeing the progress, keep us posted.

I agree with SR8. 40 Fords are one of my favorite body styles. I have a 2 door sedan tucked away that I'll get to one of these days...til then I'll follow along with your build

taking off from work thursday till tuesday hope to get some things done. pics of the front suspension coming shortly

front suspension

here are pics of my progress on the front end. I still yet have to mount the spindles and brakes waiting on a reamer to come in for that. need to patch the hole in the side of the frame someone cut. still undecided whether to use the 40 steering box or a vega box. right now i have started on locating and mounting the brackets for the rear end.
front suspension:
speedway 4 bar kit
stock 40 axle
speedway panhard rod kit
posies super slide spring (reversed eye)
(not shown in pics) pete and jakes shock kit

I may have to check that out. seems like I heard of some software out there that lets you try on different paint and wheels but can't remember where. I am torn between black and white myself. to me black is like the ultimate 40 color, but i have fond memories growing up looking thru garage door windows at a white on my dad's cousin had and never would sell.
