40 Ford truck vs. car front fenders?

What is the difference between 40 Ford truck and car front fenders?

I can see the difference in the rear fenders, since the truck would bolt to a flat bed side and the cars have a curve where they bolt to the body.

Someone correct me but the only diff I can tell is mounting hole placement but I'm not really sure I've ever seen real truck fenders!? Either way... the real things ain't cheap!!!

The bolt area at the cawl area is different. it the area were the top lip of the fender meets the cawl.

Also when buying 1939-40 front fenders look at the bottom edge at the front of the fender, Ford made two different styles. The one has a straight edge and the other is carved
