41 Chevy extended cab

I have access to another cab. I was going to use it for parts when I chop the top on my truck. But, I thought it might be a cool idea to also turn it into a chopped extended cab. So my question would be. How would I go about doing this? Should I chop my cab and then fit the other cab to it? Or should I fit the cabs together then chop the top?

41 extended cab

i just built a 36 Ford crew cab for a customer. took 3 cabs. i would fit my cab,get it welded solid and then chop.

I agree, build it first, then chop it. The hard part is that the cab tapers from front to back, and top to bottom. But I still think it can be done.
