'49 White superpower

Here's our '49white super power we have been picking on for a few years. We always hated how shorth the bed was and how close the rear wheels were to the cab. So we decided to fix that. The vision here is to make it look like a hot rod semi cab since it started its life as a over the road semi truck. Here's it a few years ago with the 22tt pickup.

Dad got the tires mounted and rolled one where he wants the axle. I like it!

The plans are to build a narrower rear frame, with a narrower rear end, lengthen the overall wheel base, 4 link it with coil overs. We assembled the narrowed 9"'rear axle tonight and pressed in the wheel studs. Wednesday I'll be finishing up the new rear section of frame.
