A short video of our 54 IH R-170 at an all diesel drag at Byron Dragway in Illinois this last fall it was our first time running it. We had some troubles keeping it in gear and since then we have also put a higher stall converter in it hoping to get it down in the 11's this year. But we did win a most unique trophy at this race[cl. The truck was originally a water truck for the fire department it then went to a church a sat in a shed for most of its life, a scrapper then found it and decided it was too clean to junk. As for the motor its a 4BT Cummins out of a hostess truck set up with twin turbos. http://youtu.be/BUmmQ21MgH4

Thanks, this is our second diesel conversion. We are just getting started on our third which is a 59 chevy viking 60 that will have a 6v-53 detroit an longbox from an apache .ill have to post pics in the build section once we really get rollin on it
