I know a guy that was talking about scrapping out a '63 Buick he has. He said Wildcat one time and LeSabre another. Before I ride three or four hours to look at it, what's the market like for the motor/trans and how would I tell if it's a 401 or a 425. Any particular thing to look for to distinguish between the two? He said it was running about ten years ago but that may really be twenty. If I can get this thing for scrap price, maybe I can part it out and save it from the crusher. I surely don't have any need for it but I really hate to see an oldie go to junk. Thanks. Any help would be appreciated.
