i knew a guy that bought a goat every year to eat down his grass and at the end of the year we would have a bbq. yum

I ate goat meat once and did not care for it.I would have to give my goat away every winter. Either that or I would feel sorry for the durn thing and feed him through the winter and cost myself more then he was worth in the first place. On seconed thought maybe I don't need to get a goat after all.[P[;)

My grandpa used to keep a couple sheep for that reason. He always said a goat would eat everything else but the grass, but the sheep would keep the grass real short. Don't know if there is any truth to that.

BBQ's goat is pretty good, especially if you do it the traditional way and dig a big hole, light the fire throw the goat in and burry it again for half a day on the coals.
