An extra side door was discussed on an online forum re. The 50-53? Suburban.

Would you know if this is aftermarket or stock for those years.

The back window on the GMC looks longer than the Chevy, as mentioned.

As far as I know, Suburbans had 2 doors until 1967. (I lusted after a 3 door Suburban once upon a time.)

I did some digging and give you this excerpt from GM Heritage Center...

"1967 saw new styling for GM light duty trucks. Suburbans had a unique 3-door configuration; one door on the drivers side and a front and rear door on the passenger side. Suburbans were always 2-doors up until this time."

Yep. Anything pre-'67 was two door only.
