alternator hook up

Ok so I bought a GM alternator for my 56 cadillac. Im upgrading the system to 12v. Well the little sheet of paper that came with the thing really stinks. I have no clue how to hook the dang thing up. Anyone know what color wire goes to what?

A full sensing 3 wire as used by GM, and a modified 3 wire, either will work. I have no idea what colours were used in 56 on the Cads.

Closest I can find is for a 57 Cad. With any luck it will be the same colour scheme.
