Hello, I'm Matt 56 years young and I live in Queens New York, I have a family and right now a lot home projects to finish.I have a 1950 Ford 4 door and a 1958 Dodge D100. Both are original and in need of work. The Ford has it's original Flathead V8 that runs. I did the brakes and rode it around the block once in the nine years I have it. I'm hoping to work on it next spring. The Dodge pickup runs and I use it once in a while. Hope you don't mind me searching the post for knowledge and ideas. I'll try to post some pics when I can and post once I get started working on the Ford. I'm thinking of keeping the Flattie and going with an upgraded front end and maybe a hand paint job (roller or brush). I need to keep the cost of the project low and want to do most if not all of the work myself. Hoping the final outcome will be a resto rod and daily driver.
