brake lights?????

so i have a 51 ford custom and it has been switch to a 12 volt system i have tail lights and blinkers no brake lights. only two wires at the light bulb only on light bulb system if i hook up brake lights i have no blinkers its one or the other, i dont get it did a 51 ford custom come with blinkers i think so i have the colum for it and stock looking blikers in the front. my question is this how can i hook up to get brake tail and blinkers working. as for now the car at my shop and i'm at home so i will just have to drink beer and think about it i think this is the right thing to do lol

Unless I missed something, hook your brakes to the same lead as the turn signal. Should be able to splice the brake light wire in on the light side of the flasher/turn signal switch. I couldn't find a turn signal switch in either schematic.

Look at the bottom left (Turn signal connection) right above head light it is a little easyer to look at if you print it..
