Spend some time on the broncos tonight. Got the transfer case shifter mounted had to build a couple bushings. Got the floor cut out and the factory floor shifter removed I will be reusing the factory floor shifter I'm just going to convert it to cable. I had to move it around a little bit because the transfer case shifter came up right where the forces that used to be and move it back just a little bit between the seats a little more. Should actually make it a little more comfortable to shift we need be.
Also picked up some air pump stops. Should keep the truck from bottoming out but do it smoothly!

Shifter works!! I built the shifter plate that will attach to the floor. Also got the mouse made for underneath the truck that run the shifter cable on the transmission. Also drilled some holes and mounted the shifter cable up top underneath the body and hooked it to the shifter. Seems to work pretty smooth I am going to try and get a couple smaller cable clamps. Help tighten it up a little bit. I did a lot of math and figured out what The stroke needed to be. I think I've got it all working properly. And the one picture of the shifter you can see the factory part on the right and then my angle I added on the left. Factory stuff got cut off. I needed to move it out to miss the transfer case

Tomorrow I hope to get all the holes in the floor plugged up.

Man, this thing is pretty cool! It's coming right along and looking good!

Thanks man I know it's not everyone's cup of tea but it is turning out pretty good in my opinion. Should be a solid little rig and definitely different than anything else you're going to park next to at the stoplight

Shifters are done!!! Got the holes all closed up and it is shifting smooth!! Also grabbed the power steering line that I had made. Mounting clamps for the remote reservoir will be here Monday. Also got the radiator mounted in the fan situation figured out

For sure a hood full!

I’m in the process of changing my ps pump, steering gear, and lines. I first put the gear in before I dropped in the motor, it was a PIA to take out with the motor in place! I had to take the left mount completely off and jack the motor up to even get it out the space was so limited. Then once I had it back together, the pressure line would no longer fit, was going to rub the exhaust manifold. Had room before? Don’t know what went back differently, but I lost space! Now having to wait on another fitting from Summit. $50 for ONE fitting!:eek:

I pity whoever has to change the spark plugs on the BII! Looks like scraped hands and cuss words for sure!

Hahahaha, it's tight for sure. I have had plugs out. It's not that bad.

Went digging through the radiator hoses at my local parts store and found a couple that worked perfectly. Also got the transmission cooler lines installed and filled the power steering reservoir and blood the system. The list is definitely getting shorter

Three steps forward two steps back, that's normally how these projects go. Got the transmission all wired in today with the coffee shift transmission controller. Trying to figure out how they want the speedometer hooked up it's literally one wire that goes to the speedometer but it doesn't tell you which of the two wires from the speedometer it wants you to hook it to. So I'll probably make a call tomorrow and get that figured out. I'm going to have to order a new flange for the header. It literally dumps out right on top of the dipstick location. I knew it was going to be tight I ordered a flexible dipstick but it will not fit. I took the dipstick apart and tried to put the press in end into the case which did fit. But I cannot get the tube around the collector flange. I'll just order a V-Band style. That headers lots of fun to get out, but it has to be done. Tomorrow I will get the bump stops installed along with all of the mounts for the brake lines and get the brake lines hooked up. I might even try and put the hood back on it and clean up some wiring. Stuff just needs put together and wrapped up to make look clean. It's coming along but it's slower than I'd like
